Virgin Atlantic’s First Starlink-Equipped A350 to Enter Service Early

Virgin Atlantic announced that its first aircraft equipped with Starlink internet infrastructure will enter service earlier than planned. The airline confirmed that installation has been accelerated, with the first Airbus A350 set to begin operations in May 2026.

The aircraft will operate flights between London Heathrow and New York John F. Kennedy International Airport. Virgin Atlantic also stated that its entire A350 fleet is expected to be equipped with Starlink connectivity by early summer.

The airline plans to begin integrating its Boeing 787 Dreamliner fleet into the system in the second half of 2026, aiming to have two-thirds of its fleet connected by the end of the year. Installations on Airbus A330 aircraft are expected to be completed in 2027.
